That bright thing that shows up in the sky every now and then came out again today and it actually got warm enough to take the kids out for a little bit. Mason is going to be quite the hitter. He makes us back way up before he'll hit the ball.
And Mason is quite the artist. He really enjoys making smiley faces with lots of hair.

Day 91 April 1
I've decided to give you a glimpse at that crochet project I'm working on. The 5 1/2 hour throw. After I figured out the problem it's going to look really nice when it's finished. Here it is. A work in progress.
Of course the really funny story took place today. I ripped all this out before bedtime because I got very frustrated with it. So this morning when I came in here Terry says to me "the cat go a hold of your crochet stuff." Of course I just had to laugh cause I imagine that's how it would look. He thought I was going to be really mad when I got up. Late April Fools Terry!!

Day 90 March 31
I'm a very avid reader as many of you know already. Sometimes I find a series of books that I devour quickly. The latest series is considered young adult reading but I enjoy those too. This series is called the Mortal Instruments series. I read the first three in less than a week and the next one doesn't come out till late April but the author released a prequel to the series that I picked up yesterday.

Day 89 March 30
Yay. I'm finally caught up.
So while I was working on a few things I heard the boys talking about smiley faces and noses. Knowing that means that they are probably doing something they aren't supposed to. And sure enough, they are sitting on the kitchen table drawing on the window.

Day 88 March 29
Jina now has the boys hooked on Dr. Who. They were even chanting from their room during nap time "Jina, Dr. Who. Jina, Dr. Who". She is totally psyched by that.
Day 85 March 26
Spring is finally starting to really show around here. A few flowers here and there and a few trees are starting to bud as well.
Day 84 March 25
I've decided to tackle a new crocheting project. This time it's a 5 1/2 hour throw. For me that will probably equal a 10 hour throw. But here's a peek at the yarn and hook.
Day 83 March 24
Imagine walking thru your quiet house, lost in thought and you pass your teen's bedroom and Whoa, there's someone in there. It will give you quite the start right? Well it's an everyday occurrence in this house. Minus the quiet house part.
Day 82 March 23
Just another day of the kiddos being silly. During nap time they will sometimes lay in one bed and chatter back and forth to each other.
Day 81 March 22
I see these flowers all the time in my house and admire how pretty they are but never once have I taken a picture of one. So behold.
Day 79 March 20
I headed home from Skyline today and was so happy to see the kids and Terry. After I got home and ate dinner we unloaded the car. I decided while it was still fresh in my mind to reorganize all my ribbon. What a task that was.
Day 78 March 19
Our last night at Skyline. But it was the night of the super moon. Luckily Terry called to tell me to go look at it or I would have forgotten. Nothing like a bunch of women grabbing cameras and running off to take pictures of the moon.
Day 77 March 18
Still at Skyline. I love this place. And today the water was flowing in the river at the camp. Carol, Karen and I went for a walk thru the camp enjoying the beautiful weather and fresh air. They went off to take pics of something else and I headed for the falls.
Day 76 March 17
Happy St. Patrick's Day. We celebrated the night before with corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots and soda bread since I was going to be out of town on the actual holiday. And it was on this day 4 years ago that we got to bring the twins home from the NICU after almost three weeks.
So anyway, I left on this morning to go to the Skyline Retreat and hang with some really wonderful ladies in a quiet mountain setting. Oh yeah, and to scrapbook. The trees were starting to bloom so I had to get some shots.

Day 73 March 14
Here comes another zoo layout inspired by the gals over at Scrapbook Heaven. Love their sketch challenges.
Day 72 March 13
For the boys birthday they got a T-Ball stand but the weather hasn't really been nice enough for them to go out and play but this was a rare dry, sunny day so out they went. With their Thomas hats of course. It was fun watching them try and hit the ball. I think maybe Terry and I had more fun than they did.
Day 71 March 12
For some reason both cats love to lay on my scrap tables while I'm working but on this day Shadow was feeling especially tired.
Day 70 March 11
Here's another take on a sketch from Scrapbook Heaven. I really enjoyed this layout and of course the zoo pics.
Day 69 March 10
Time for another journey down Jina's trippy art world. Her stuff is definitely strange but kind of unique too.
Day 68 March 9
I had to get a new toy because my 5 year old toy was finally on it's last leg. So here it is, nice and shiny.
Day 65 March 6
More of my baby boy Eragon. He really doesn't like having his picture taken but he tolerates it better than some of the humans in the family.

Day 63 March 4
Since we were in the Gulf Shores area we decided to be tourists. We visited the USS Alabama and then went to the beach for a little bit. The kids weren't able to get near the water due to a large amount of Man O' Wars all over the beach. It was also very windy and the sand was hurting their legs. After the beach we made a stop over at the local Scrapbook store. A few hours later we went off to bingo.
Day 62 March 3
We left for the Gulf Shores area on March 2 to look for a job for Terry. On the 3rd dad drove us around all day just looking for the various locations listed on the job papers we had. We did strike out but had fun none the less. For dinner that night we went to the famous Lamberts, home of the throwed roll. It was good and a lot of fun. The waitress kept messing with Terry, the first time she got him with the supposed spilled drink. Not so much the next time or the time she came by with the raccoon in a pot. The kids liked that.
Day 61 March 2
This is my version of multi tasking. Surfing the web with one hand, typing and printing resumes with the other. Yep, that's what I do best.
Day 60 March 1
Layout time. I did this layout for a Scrapbook Heaven challenge. I really loved it and had been looking for something to do with these pics.

Day 59 February 28
Also for the boys birthday they got a Thomas train track. So of course Eragon had to try and devour the train. Poor Thomas.
Day 58 February 27
Grandma and Grandpa got them this great inflatable play toy with balls in it. They really are having a ball with it. LOL
Day 57 February 26
Ahhh, our babies turned 4 on this day. I can't believe how quickly time is flying and how big they are getting. We had a great birthday party with lots of friends and family joining us. We fired up the grill and had dogs, burgers, chips and of course cake and ice cream. Here are my babies.
Day 55 February 24
Mom and dad rolled into town on this day bringing with them some really nasty storms. They didn't really bring them but I like to harass them anyway. We got to spend some time in the basement because the sirens started going off. This is a pic of the TV showing the storm cells as they passed over.
Day 54 February 23
Time to play catch up. Oops. March just kinda flew by. So here are my updates.
Sometimes I'm able to catch the boys in rare form as they play. And sometimes they actually play away from each other which is when they actually behave the best. So here is Mitchell playing with some blocks. He tends to get very frustrated when he can't build them as high as he would like.
